Nominate your customers and partners to play in the Sybase Classic Pro-Am tournaments. This year’s Sybase Classic runs May 12 – 18, 2008 at the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, NJ and offers opportunities for your customers to play in one of two equally prestigious pro-ams.
Sybase Chairman’s Cup
Tuesday, May 13 at Hamilton Farms Golf Club
30 Sybase guests will play with 10 top professionals at Hamilton Farms Golf Club - a private club on a historic country estate in Somerset County, NJ. This is an exclusive Sybase event hosted by John Chen. The invitation includes a round of golf, awards, a gift bag, commemorative photo, and 2 VIP pass to the Sybase Clubhouse on tournament days (Thursday-Sunday).
Sybase Classic Official Pro-Am
Wednesday, May 14 at Upper Montclair Country Club
56 Sybase guests will play with 14 professionals in a full field Pro-Am tournament. There will be both morning and afternoon tee times. The invitation includes tickets for the player and a guest to attend the draw party (Monday evening), a gift bag, a commemorative photo, and 2 VIP passes to the Sybase Clubhouse on tournament days (Thursday-Sunday).
Who should be nominated? Nominations should go to executives at our most strategic and influential accounts. Customers, partners, analysts, press, and government officials are all appropriate nominations. Both Pro-Am tournaments are equally prestigious.
What is the selection and invitation process? Once the nominations are received, they will be reviewed and given a priority. Invitations will be sent in waves, so we can fill the spots with the most appropriate customers and partners. Highly qualified nominations that are submitted early have the highest chances of being accepted. Last year we received nearly 300 nominations from around the world.

Travel Information
Employees and guests are responsible for all travel related expenses and must make their own arrangements and reservations. Newark, NJ airport is the closest to the hotel.
Hotel:
A block of rooms has been reserved for Sybase employees and out of town guests at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ.
For reservations call: 201-896-0500 or contact Sheraton's Central Reservation Office, at 1-800-325-3535. Ask for the "Sybase" block. There is another block called "Sybase Classic" for tournament staff and players. Don't book in that block.

Event Dates: May 12-18
Cutoff Date: April 21. The hotel is likely to fill, so book early.

Ground Transportation
Employees should not rent a car. Transportation will be provided daily to the golf course and Summit events.
